The Mendota Gridiron Club, Inc. is a tax-exempt, non-profit organization and athletic booster club whose sole purpose is to support Wisconsin football and to raise contributions (in cash and in kind) for the University of Wisconsin football program.

TRADITION AND SERVICE

The Mendota Gridiron Club, incorporated in 1979, originated as the Mendota Association in 1949. From the original small group of strong and loyal Wisconsin football fans, the club has grown to exceed 2,500 members. Today, members have the opportunity to assist the football staff in continuing the successful program established in recent years.

Any individual may become a member of the Mendota Gridiron Club, Inc. by contributing money, material or services needed and requested by the Athletic Department for the football program. All contributions (cash or in kind) entitle the contributor to membership status for the calendar year in which the contribution is made.

A Message From Coach Bielema

One of the things that became immediately clear to me when I arrived at Wisconsin in 2004 was that support for the Badgers is unrivaled. The past two years have only enhanced what I first witnessed.

I am very thankful to be the head coach of a program that had the backing of an organization like the Mendota Gridiron Club. The Mendota membership's contributions -- enthusiasm, loyalty, financial support -- are absolutely essential to the success of our football program.

Whether we are playing at Camp Randall Stadium, on the road or in a bowl game, our staff and student-athletes know they can count on the Mendota Gridiron Club. I want you to know that I, along with my staff and student-athletes, are doing everything we can to give you a football team you can take pride in.

I encourage you to join the Mendota Gridiron Club. You'll be helping our student-athletes achieve their athletic and academic goals and you'll be a part of the greatest booster group in college athletics.
